Having spent many years as a partner at Clyde & Co Jane has built up exceptional expertise in the field of insurance, professional indemnity and transport claims. She particularly specialises in handling coverage disputes in the marine and non-marine fields.
She is recognised in the Legal 500 as a leading specialist in shipping and has also been involved in various high profile cases over the years. During her time as a partner in the Oxford firm Henmans she handled professional indemnity claims on behalf of solicitors, construction professionals and insurance brokers amongst others whilst continuing her marine practice.
She is a contributor to the marine insurance section of the Encyclopedia of Forms and Precedents and has been involved in assisting the CII on various marine projects. Jane has recently been appointed a Solicitor Member of the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal by the Master of the Rolls.
