Ian is the founder of Ross & Co and has over 25 years experience in international trade law, mainly in cross border litigation and international arbitration. He acts for a number of Finnish majors and has done for many years.
After completing his studies at Oxford, he lived, worked and studied in both Sweden and Finland, having studied in both Linköping and Uppsala before spending a two year period in Helsinki with Suomen Pankki. He has been an active member of the Finnish British Trade Guild, now the Finnish British Chamber of Commerce, for many years and was Chairman of the Board for two years. In June 2001 he received a Knighthood (Knight First Class of the White Rose of Finland) from the President of Finland for services to Finland.
